The Ramathibodi Archives and Museum is a permanent exhibition which has an information about the history of the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University. It is the museum where the visitors search for the history of medicine, nurse and Thai public health. Moreover, there will be temporary exhibition present history information about milestone of the Faculty.

SIRINDHORN DENTAL MUSEUM

Zone 2 The Beginning of the Dentistry in AsiaThis dentistry’s exhibition room evidences the beginning of dentistry in Asia, presented in timeline by using photos and description, including lots of interesting and engaging displays such as a mock-up of Rattanakosin age’s women wearing coconut shell denture, a story of dentistry knowledge from western to Thailand, a representation of dental clinic and an atmosphere of Chareonkrung road in the age of King Chulalongkorn (King Rama V).

Zone 3 The Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University from Past to PresentA memorable presentation of the history of the Faculty of Dentistry from past to present.

Zone 4 The Royal Dental Department in Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri SirindhornA fascinating representation of the Royal Dental Department in Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn demonstrates dental tools and operation system uses in rural areas through the 3D system.

Zone 5 The Dental Health RoomA charming exhibition presents information regarding oral health care in everyone. Children can enjoy the biggest interactive teeth in Thailand as well as learning how to take care of their health.

Last Zone ArchivesA noteworthy exhibition displays tools and dental applications used in earlier dental operation and a learning media of the Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol university.

THAI NURSING MUSEUM AND ARCHIVES FACULTY OF NURSING, MAHIDOL UNIVERSITY

In 2014, the Faculty of Nursing renovated the archives and museum of Thai nursing on the 4th floor of Queen Sri Bajarindra Building, Bangkok Noi, to commemorate the 150th birthday anniversary of Queen Sri Bajarindra, who founded the “School of Midwifery and Nursing” as Thailand’s first nursing school, which is currently known as the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University; and also celebrating the 120 years of Faculty of Nursing in 2017.

“Royal Archives of Queen Sri Bajrindra”
The exhibition consists of 5 topics that portray the royal biography and key royal activities, particularly in education, medicine and nursing.

“Thai Nursing History Room”
The history and development of nursing profession in Thailand. The exhibition starts from the period whereby nursing reflects the intuition of mutual care between family members. Later, Thailand had adopted medical and nursing sciences from the western world, which coincided with the royal thoughts of King Chulalongkorn in the arrangement of modern medical treatment and nursing, as well as hospitals for Thai people. With the royal benevolence of Queen Sri Bajarindra, the Thailand’s first midwifery and nursing school named the “School of Female Midwifery and Nursing” was found-ed in 1896, which is currently known as the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University.

“Khunying Binbakya Bidyabhed Room”
The history and development of Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University. From the stream of mercy to 120 years of glory. The exhibition emphasizes the life of nursing students in the past and present. Designed with the concept of “Living and Learning Lifestyle

“Nursing Archives Room”
Nursing Archives Room stores documents, books and journals that are considered valuable for nursing profession range from the past until present days both electronic and hard copies.

Touch Exhibits Museum in Honor of Her Majesty the Queen

Touch Museum: All Is Equal.
This museum was specially designed so that each and every visitor, with or without vision, can experience the exhibits equally through their sense of touch. Those with vision disabilities will perceive the gorgeous and graceful beauty of Her Majesty the Queen of Thailand through a replica of the Ceres coin, simultaneously hearing the narratives praising her world-recognized contributions with a melodious musical background.

Songkran Niyomsane Forensic Medicine Museum

Forensic medicine plays a vital role in applying medical and scientific processes to identifying the causes of any unnatural deaths. The exhibits include evidence that Prof. Dr. Songkran Niyomsane collected from various closed cases before establishing this museum to house the large collection.

On display are exhibits relating to forensic cases such as suicides and accidents, including an imitation of the actual scenario of the 2004 Tsunami disaster, in which Siriraj doctors played a significant role.

Parasitology Museum

Parasitology MuseumProf. Dr. Vichitr Chaiyaporn, the found-er of this museum, has a collection of various parasites collected from patients, displayed here with a presentation of their life cycles and natural habitats.

A wide variety of worms, ranging from those that are not visible by naked eyes (protozoa), to those of up to a meter – size (flat worms) can be seen on display. In addition, information about types of food, cooking processes favoring growth of the parasites, disease-carrying insects, venomous animals and self-preventive measures are also provided
