On Thursday, 20 August 2026, the Archives and Museums Department welcomed Grade 12 students from the Science–Mathematics Program, accompanied by teachers from Phanomsuksa School, Surat Thani Province, who participated in the “Open the World of Innovators: Learning Towards Future Career Paths” camp. The group joined the Campus Tour by tram to explore the atmosphere and key landmarks of Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
วันพฤหัสบดีที่ 20 สิงหาคม พ.ศ. 2569 ฝ่ายจดหมายเหตุและพิพิธภัณฑ์ หอสมุดและคลังความรู้มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล เข้าร่วมประชุมหารือแนวทางการจัดกิจกรรมเนื่องใน วันพิพิธภัณฑ์ไทย ประจำปี 2569 ณ ห้องประชุม 2 อาคารกรมศิลปากร ชั้น 8 เทเวศร์ เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมสำหรับการจัดกิจกรรมร่วมกับเครือข่ายพิพิธภัณฑ์และแหล่งเรียนรู้ภายในมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล รวมถึงชุมชนโดยรอบพื้นที่ศาลายา–พุทธมณฑล เพื่อส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ด้านประวัติศาสตร์ ศิลปวัฒนธรรม และสร้างการมีส่วนร่วมระหว่างพิพิธภัณฑ์กับชุมชน
On Thursday, 20 August 2026, the Archives and Museums Department, Mahidol University Library and Knowledge Center, participated in a meeting to discuss plans for activities marking Thai Museum Day 2026 at Meeting Room 2, 8th Floor, Fine Arts Department Building, Thewet. The meeting focused on preparations for collaborative activities with museum and learning-resource networks within Mahidol University and surrounding communities in the Salaya–Phutthamonthon area, promoting learning in history, arts and culture, and strengthening engagement between museums and local communities.
On Monday, 17 August 2026, the Archives and Museums Department welcomed faculty members and nursing students from seven international institutions: The University of Osaka, Juntendo University, Taipei Medical University, The University of Hong Kong, Kunming Medical University, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and JPMC College of Health Sciences. The group participated in an exchange program to learn about Thailand’s nursing and public health systems, as well as Thai culture, at the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University.

On Monday, 17 August 2026, Professor Dr. Piyamitr Sritara, President of Mahidol University, together with the Vice President for Student Affairs and Alumni and Assistant Professor Dr. Sarawut Wetchakit, Director of the Mahidol University Library and Knowledge Center, visited the exhibition “October 6 and Its Impact on Mahidol: When Ideals Face the Test” at the Peace Festival Week 2026 at Mahidol University, Salaya Campus. Organized by the Archives and Museums Department, the exhibition commemorates the 50th anniversary of the 6 October 1976 event and highlights its impact on Mahidol students through historical documents, photographs, and archival evidence.
The Peace Festival Week 2026, organized by the Institute of Human Rights and Peace Studies, Mahidol University, and its partners, was held from 17–19 August 2026 under the theme “From Remembering Gwangju to Recognising October 6.”
The story continues with the 50th-anniversary exhibition “From the Forest to the Big City: Mahidol’s Unfading Mission,” opening on 24 September 2026 at the Mahidol Learning Center.

มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล นำโดย รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.อภิลักษณ์ เกษมผลกูล คณะศิลปศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล และนางสาวเพชรดา ฐิติยาภรณ์ หัวหน้าฝ่ายจดหมายเหตุและพิพิธภัณฑ์ หอสมุดและคลังความรู้มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ร่วมประชุมกับนางสาวรัฐชญา วัฒนกุล นายกองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลศาลายา ผู้แทนองค์กร Heritage Pageants นำโดยคุณ Susan Sanfurni Koh, International Pageant Director และผู้แทนชุมชนศาลายา ณ องค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลศาลายา จังหวัดนครปฐม เพื่อหารือแนวทางการจัดประกวด Miss Heritage 2026 โดยมีจังหวัดนครปฐมเป็นพื้นที่หลักในการจัดการแข่งขัน พร้อมส่งเสริมกิจกรรมด้านวัฒนธรรมและวิถีชีวิตท้องถิ่น อาทิ การตักบาตรท้องน้ำและประเพณีลอยกระทง เพื่อเผยแพร่อัตลักษณ์ทางวัฒนธรรมของนครปฐมสู่ระดับนานาชาติ นอกจากนี้ ยังมีแผนจัดกิจกรรม Workshop และการแสดงทางวัฒนธรรมภายในมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล พร้อมเปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาและบุคลากรมีส่วนร่วมในการจัดงาน
Mahidol University, represented by Associate Professor Aphilak Kasempholkoon, Ph.D., Faculty of Liberal Arts, and Ms. Petchrada Thitiyaporn, Head of the Archives and Museums Department, Mahidol University Library and Knowledge Center, held a meeting with Ms. Ratthachaya Wattanakul, President of Salaya Subdistrict Administrative Organization, representatives of Heritage Pageants, led by Ms. Susan Sanfurni Koh, International Pageant Director, and representatives of the Salaya community at the Salaya Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Nakhon Pathom Province.
The meeting focused on plans for Miss Heritage 2026, with Nakhon Pathom proposed as the main host area for the competition, alongside cultural activities and opportunities to experience local ways of life, including alms-giving by boat and Loy Krathong. The initiative aims to showcase Nakhon Pathom’s cultural identity to an international audience. The event will also feature workshops and cultural performances at Mahidol University, with opportunities for students and staff to participate in the organization of the event.

On Monday, August 10, 2026, Mahidol University Archives and Museums welcomed Ms. Nittaya Kanokmongkol, Director of the National Museum Office, along with Ms. Darika Thanasaksiri, Director of the Museum Promotion and Development Group, National Museum Office, Fine Arts Department, and their delegation. The visit was part of a survey of potential tourism routes in Mahidol University and learning sites in Phutthamonthon District in preparation for Thai Museum Day on September 19, 2026.On this occasion, the delegation visited several learning sites in the area, including the Prince Mahidol Memorial Hall and Mahidol University Hall of Fame, Siree Park, Thai Film Archive (Public Organization), Maha Sawat House Museum, and the Royal Initiative Community Water Management Natural Museum at Baan Sala Din, with the aim of connecting learning resources and developing a museum-based tourism route in Phutthamonthon District.

The visit was joined by the Vice President for Student Affairs and Alumni and the Division of Student Affairs. The group explored key landmarks and the campus atmosphere at Mahidol University, Salaya Campus, by MUVE BUS (Campus Tour).

On Thursday, 23 July 2026, the Archives and Museums Department, Mahidol University, together with its interns, visited the “Heart of the Kingdom” exhibition honoring Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother at the Siriraj 100 Years Pavilion, Siriraj Hospital. The group was welcomed by Ajarn Wikan Pongpanitanon, Advisor to the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital and a member of the Mahidol University Archives and Museums Policy Committee, who led the exhibition tour and shared insights into the exhibition.
